While visiting Miami Art Basel in December 2015, I was interested in the culture there surrounding the art works. Big formats displayed almost at every turn. People rushing around with their phones, taking selfies, flirting with gallerists, gallerists flirting with the works.

 

I came back to Germany after having spent some time with the print making process and was eager to share also big formated works of scenes I had seen there.

My Goal with this series of 7 Prints is to hang them in an atmosphere equal to Art Basel, so that the viewer can see the viewer also in the Art. As for me, it forms a repetitive arrangement of people viewing art of people viewing art.
